Beyond the Supplement Facts: What Sets the Power Pack Apart

Beyond the Supplement Facts: What Sets the Power Pack Apart

What pillars make up a better daily performance foundation?

Before Power Pack was a product, it was a routine that had already earned its place in collegiate strength and conditioning programs. Coaches were assembling it themselves, bottle by bottle. So we built the pack.

Because a daily routine should do more than check boxes for a multivitamin, fish oil, vitamin D, and magnesium. Ingredient forms, sourcing, ratios, complementary nutrients, and formulation decisions are what separate one of those from another.

Each daily packet combines four Designs for Sport® formulas that can stand on their own:

Together, they provide a streamlined foundation of vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, essential fatty acids, vitamin D, vitamin K, and magnesium to help support energy production, cardiovascular and cognitive health, bone health, muscle function, antioxidant status, recovery, and overall performance.*

Here’s what separates each pillar.

Pillar One: Multi + Phyto

A Different Category of Multivitamin

Most multivitamins begin and end with vitamins and minerals.

Multi + Phyto was built to go further.

At the two-capsule serving incorporated into Power Pack, athletes receive a broad spectrum of vitamins and minerals alongside active nutrient forms, chelated minerals, specialized branded ingredients, and a diverse phytonutrient layer.

Highlights include:

  • Higher levels of vitamin C sourced from whole-food acerola
  • Higher levels of vitamin K, including both K1 AND K2 for more targeted bone and heart health support.*
  • Active forms of B2 (riboflavin), B6, folate (premium branded form — Quatrefolic®), and methylcobalamin (vitamin B12)
  • Superior form of biotin (d-biotin)
  • Tocotrienols instead of standard vitamin E tocopherols
  • Chelated minerals, including chromium and molybdenum, for enhanced bioavailability
  • Organic SelenoExcell® selenium yeast
  • Boron and molybdenum: two nutrients often absent from multivitamins
  • Flow agent: lecithin (phospholipid, not a seed oil)

The Phytonutrient Difference

Multi + Phyto also incorporates a broad phytonutrient and specialized nutrient layer that many conventional multivitamins leave out:

  • Wild Blueberry
Provides a diverse source of naturally occurring plant compounds.
  • Muscadine Grape
Adds another layer of polyphenol-rich botanical nutrition.
  • Broccoli Sprout Blend
Expands the formula beyond isolated vitamins and minerals with concentrated plant-based compounds.
  • Quercetin
A widely studied flavonoid included as part of the formula’s phytonutrient profile.
  • Trans-Resveratrol
Adds a complementary polyphenol to the formula.
  • Citrus Bioflavonoids
Contribute additional plant-based flavonoids alongside vitamin C.
  • Lycopene + Lutein Esters
Carotenoids that further broaden the formula’s phytonutrient diversity.
  • Pantethine + Benfotiamine
Specialized nutrient forms that complement the formula’s B-vitamin foundation.

Together, this creates a vitamin, mineral, and phytonutrient system designed to support cellular energy production, antioxidant status, cellular resilience, and everyday performance.*

Pillar Two: Omega 3 Hi-Po

Purity Starts with the Source

Source species, fatty-acid ratio, molecular form, carrier ingredients, and digestive support can all differentiate one omega 3 formula from another.

Omega 3 Hi-Po begins with wild Alaskan pollock from a single-species source.

Each two-softgel serving provides:

  • 1,600 mg combined EPA + DHA
  • A balanced 1:1 EPA-to-DHA ratio
  • True TG® certification, with greater than 90% triglyceride-form fish oil
  • Added lipase to support digestion and absorption*
  • No seed oils

EPA and DHA each contribute distinct physiological roles.

Rather than dramatically favoring one over the other, Omega 3 Hi-Po provides equal amounts of EPA and DHA to deliver balanced foundational support for cardiovascular health, brain health, joint health, healthy inflammatory responses, and exercise recovery.*

Omega 3 Hi-Po is formulated without seed-oil carriers, reflecting a formulation philosophy centered on source selection, purity, and bioavailability.*

Pillar Three: Vitamin D + K Pro

Two Nutrients That Work Better as a Team

  • Vitamin D does more than support bone health. It contributes to normal calcium absorption, muscle function, immune function, and maintenance of healthy bones.*
  • Vitamin K complements vitamin D by supporting the activation of proteins involved in normal calcium utilization and bone metabolism.*

That’s why Vitamin D + K Pro pairs vitamin D3 with both vitamin K1 and vitamin K2, rather than relying on a single form of vitamin K:

  • Vitamin K1 (phytonadione) primarily supports normal blood coagulation while also contributing to vitamin K-dependent processes involved in bone health.*
  • Vitamin K2 (menaquinone) complements K1 with an important role in activating vitamin K-dependent proteins involved in normal calcium metabolism, helping support appropriate calcium utilization in bone and cardiovascular tissues.*
  • Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) supports calcium absorption and helps maintain calcium status while supporting muscle, immune, and bone health.*

Together, the formula approaches calcium metabolism from complementary directions: vitamin D supports calcium absorption, while vitamin K supports vitamin K-dependent proteins involved in how calcium is utilized.*

Pillar Four: Magnesium Bisglycinate

Not All Forms of Magnesium Perform the Same Function

Magnesium supports hundreds of reactions throughout the body, including processes involved in cellular energy production, normal muscle and nerve function, electrolyte balance, and relaxation.*

But seeing “magnesium” on a Supplement Facts panel doesn’t tell the entire story.

Magnesium Bisglycinate provides magnesium chelated to the amino acid glycine. This form was selected with absorption and gastrointestinal tolerability in mind, making it well suited for consistent daily supplementation.*

Each capsule provides 150 mg of elemental magnesium to support:

  • Normal muscle function*
  • Cellular energy production*
  • Healthy nervous system function*
  • Relaxation and a healthy response to occasional stress*
  • Bone and cardiovascular health*

Why These Four Formulas Belong Together

The right foundation is about covering more of the fundamentals intelligently.

Each formula in Power Pack addresses a different part of the nutritional foundation:

  • Multi + Phyto — Vitamins, minerals, active nutrient forms, and phytonutrients to support energy metabolism, antioxidant status, and cellular resilience.*
  • Omega 3 Hi-Po — EPA and DHA to support cardiovascular, cognitive, joint, inflammatory, and recovery pathways.*
  • Vitamin D + K Pro — Complementary support for muscle function, calcium utilization, immune health, and bone metabolism.*
  • Magnesium Bisglycinate — Highly absorbable magnesium to support muscle function, relaxation, nerve health, and cellular energy production.*

Together, they provide complementary nutritional support across cellular energy metabolism, cardiovascular health, muscle and bone function, antioxidant status, and recovery — all organized into a single daily system.*

One Packet. One Daily Foundation.

Elite performance environments depend on repeatable systems.

Rather than opening four bottles, counting capsules, and rebuilding the same routine every morning, Power Pack organizes four foundational formulas into one NSF Certified for Sport® daily packet.

Open. Take. Repeat.

No sorting. No guesswork. No sacrificing formula quality for convenience.
