Grass-fed BEEF PROTEIN BARS RECIPE

Take your snack game up a notch with this grass-fed beef protein bar recipe. Featuring DFS’ Grass-Fed Beef Protein, gluten-free oat flour, and maple syrup or honey for sweetness, this is the perfect energy boost to keep you going during even the hardest of days.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups gluten-free oat flour 

  • ½ cup coconut or almond flour, sifted

  • ½ cup Grass-Fed Beef Protein

  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder

  • ½ cup nut or seed butter of choice

  • ½ cup organic maple syrup or honey

  • 1 tablespoon nut milk of choice

  • Toppings of choice & flaky sea salt

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Line an 8 x 8-inch pan or 9 x 4-inch loaf pan with parchment paper 

  2. In a large bowl, combine the flours, protein powder, and cocoa powder and mix well

  3. In a microwave-safe bowl or in a stovetop pan, combine the peanut butter and maple syrup and heat until melted. Pour the wet mixture into the dry and mix well. If the batter is too thick, slowly add milk, one tablespoon at a time, until thick

  4. Transfer to lined baking dish and press firmly into place. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, then drizzle with additional nut butter mixture or chocolate

  5. Add toppings of choice (we like chocolate chips and flaky sea salt)
